Dr. Karen Halls

An Introduction to Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP)

 

BIO: Karen has almost 10 years lab experience and comes from an epigenetics background. She has worked in both the academic and commercial sector and was involved in the human genome sequencing project at the Sanger Institute.  She completed a PhD studying chromatin modifying proteins and transcription and it was during this time that she used ChIP extensively in her research. Karen has been in the Abcam, Scientific Support team for almost 2 years and has attended a number of Chromatin meetings, maintaining her knowledge in this research area.
